Lee J. Holden has personally worked in various aspects of home energy improvements throughout his business career. He welcomes any opportunity to consult on indoor air quality questions and concerns.

Since 1978, he has completed extensive training and became certified and well versed in the upgrading needs of residences to modern standards, which can include:

• Newer building, ventilation & gas code requirements.
• Blown insulation, (both attic & walls).
• Whole house ventilation, fan only & HRV air exchange systems.

Lee is a certified HRAI* installer (1994) and ventilation designer (1996).  He is the Venmar factory recommended installer.  He is a licensed G2 (gas fitter) and OBT2 (oil burner technician)(2005).  New building code ID number and training (2006) and is registered with TSSA. 

His Ontario Building Code Identification Number is:  B.C.I.N. #30555 for building services and HVAC house.

Lee has upgraded hundreds of potentially “sick” homes with state of the art, heat recovery systems, while carefully following codes and Can.F-326 C.S.A. Standards for ventilation design and installation.

With extensive experience in numerous home energy improvements, Lee Holden has transferred his knowledge and training to many aspects of “house as a system” design and retrofit components.

Lee worked on hundreds of homes under the Canadian Home Insulation Program (C.H. I. P.) 1978-1987 and was Canadian General Standards Board (C.G.S.B) Certified (1984) for insulation, air sealing, and attic ventilation.

Lee identified and solved moisture problems in wall cavities using dew point charts and other specialized methods.

Lee has extensive experience in duct modifications, fan and range hood applications including ceiling and attic venting.
